JumpBoost is a video-analysis utility for athletes and coaches that automates the calculation of jump metrics to track explosive performance trends over time.
JumpBoost processes smartphone video footage to calculate biomechanical data points. By identifying the exact frame of takeoff and landing, the software calculates jump height, flight time, contact time, and the reactive strength index. It removes the need for physical force plates or contact mats, allowing users to capture data in any training environment simply by pointing a camera at the athlete.
Coaches and athletes use JumpBoost to standardize their testing protocols. Instead of guessing progress based on visual estimation, they record regular jump sessions and upload them to the platform. The software provides a structured history of performance, allowing users to see how specific fatigue levels or training blocks impact explosive power.
