Instructors typically use the tool for high-volume courses where grading consistency is a major hurdle. In a typical workflow, the instructor uploads a scan of a batch of exams or homework. Once the system identifies the questions and groups similar answers, the instructor defines a rubric item for each group. The tool allows for dynamic rubric adjustment, meaning if the instructor realizes mid-grading that a common mistake deserves partial credit, they can update the rubric once, and the change propagates through all grouped responses.
