How people actually use it

Most users deploy Goodlookup to solve the problem of dirty data. In a typical workflow, an analyst might have a sales report where customers are listed inconsistently—some entries include legal suffixes, others have typos, and some use abbreviations. By providing a target list of clean names and a reference cell containing the messy entry, Goodlookup returns the most likely match. It is frequently used for categorical labeling where the user needs to sort hundreds of lines into buckets based on context rather than character sequence. Where it falls short
